Senior Privacy Analyst (6 Month FTC)

Job Summary
Senior Privacy Analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract in the UK based in Haywards Heath or Manchester. You’ll help maintain and mature the privacy framework across the Group, conduct DPIAs, review supplier audits, and provide practical, risk-based advice on privacy by design and default. You’ll maintain the Register of Processing Activities, assist with data protection reporting to Committees, respond to data subjects’ requests, draft communications, and contribute to privacy training and intranet content. The role requires strong knowledge of GDPR/PECR, risk assessment, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex privacy concepts for diverse teams; prior experience in Financial Services is essential and experience with AI technologies is considered valuable.
Required Qualifications
- Data Protection & Compliance Knowledge (GDPR, PECR)
- Experience in maintaining and maturing privacy framework across an organization
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Review supplier audits and ensure compliance
- Provide practical, risk-based advice on privacy obligations
- Draft data protection communications and policy updates
- Assist with data subject rights requests (e.g., DSAR)
- Provide data protection training and awareness
- Good knowledge of GDPR, PECR and Data Protection laws
- CIPP/E, CIPM, ISEB or other privacy certifications are valuable but not required
- Ability to translate complex privacy concepts into actionable guidance
