Job Summary
Senior Principal Technologist to drive architecture and definition of data center memory solutions by leveraging expertise in system architecture, SOC memory subsystems, PCIe/CXL technologies, and hardware-software co-design. You will directly engage with customers and partners to influence features and roadmaps, lead cross-functional technical initiatives, and help solve hyperscale data center bottlenecks. This in-person role in San Jose requires 10+ years memory-related experience, BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering (MS/PhD preferred), and strong knowledge of PCIe 5/6, CXL, memory controllers, and OS integration.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering
- MS or PhD preferred
- ≥10 years of experience developing memory-related solutions for data centers
- Deep experience with PCIe 5/6 and CXL
- OS software integration experience (memory allocation/management)
- Experience with silicon architecture and SOCs with memory controllers (DDR*, LPDDR*, HBM)
- Deep understanding of memory components (DRAM, etc)
- Strong datacenter system architecture knowledge
- Full stack understanding from silicon to application integration
- Customer-facing experience and ability to influence decisions
- Strong communication and leadership in cross-functional initiatives
- Willingness to travel occasionally
