Job Summary
Develop customer contractual needs into test solutions while directing preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and engineering teams to identify test objectives, requirements, and risks, then oversee test activities for requirement verification and validation. Conduct daily briefings, approve test starts and Break of Configuration on the test floor, and lead tabletop reviews and dry runs prior to execution. Manage Technical and Safety Review Boards, Test Readiness Reviews, and major test amendments, while supporting customer Test Plan Working Groups. Prepare Test Planning Team charters and collaborate with the Quality organization for test support. This role supports the Sentinel (GBSD) program on the Aerospace Vehicle Equipment Integration & Test team. The position operates on a 9/80 schedule and requires a Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- 8 Years with Bachelors in Science
- 6 Years with Masters
- 4 Years with PhD
- US Citizenship
- Active Secret Clearance
- Ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification
- Working knowledge of system integration (HW and SW) and test principles
- Experience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testing
- Experience defining test objectives based on test requirements, VCRM and interface and specification documentation
- Experience with data collection/instrumentation (methods, setup, checkout, and troubleshooting)
- Experience in troubleshooting anomalous hardware and software
- Experience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Works well in a team environment

Desired Qualifications
- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI level clearance granted or re-investigated within last 6 years
- Experience working with or designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) or Automated Test equipment (development and execution)
- Experience with developing/leading technologies and integrating them into aerospace vehicle systems for defense applications
- Experience with aerodynamic performance of missiles and construction of materials
- Understanding of aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, and control
- Flight Test Instrumentation design/development experience
- Experience in design, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting of test cables, test sets and support equipment
- Experience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML
- Proficiency in DOORS and Cameo
- Experience working with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, Jira)
- Experience with integration and test of large-scale vehicles or weapon systems
- Experience as acting Test Conductor/Lead during test procedure execution
- Familiarity with ICBMs
