Job Summary
Senior Principal Software Engineer to apply expert technical knowledge and lead software engineering activities across the software lifecycle for complex aerospace and defense programs. Responsibilities include delivering secure software solutions in areas such as secure communications, mission systems, cybersecurity, autonomous systems, embedded software, and software modernization; developing, implementing, and enhancing software approaches, processes, and standards; partnering with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to solve highly complex technical challenges and deliver mission-critical capabilities; communicating technical concepts and program status to engineering teams, customers, and leadership; serving as a subject-matter expert and technical authority within their discipline. Required experience with C/C++, Java, ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required); typically a STEM degree with 10+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
