Job Summary
Senior Principal Engineer Systems Architect role in Melbourne, FL, partnering with the Chief Architect and Systems Engineering lead to design architecture solutions for USAF Open Architecture development. Responsibilities include creating conceptual data models and data flows, designing and documenting systems using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), reviewing modifications for cross-compatibility, implementing data strategies and physical data models, coaching team members on requirements/architecture/design/implementation in the model, and handling Systems Requirements analysis with decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, innovative thinking, multitasking, and effective verbal presentations. Required qualifications include STEM degrees with specified experience, MBSE and Cameo tool proficiency, and active DoD clearance with potential for SAP/top-secret clearances. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline and 8 years related experience OR Master of Science in a STEM discipline and 6 years related experience OR STEM Ph.D. and 4 years related experience
- Experience developing model-based systems engineering products and/or Mission Engineering
- Experience modeling software systems and software system of systems
- Experience with Systems engineering tools (e.g., Cameo Suite) and Agile framework
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with recent background investigation OR currently in Continuous Evaluation, ability to obtain/maintain DoD Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain/maintain SAP clearance
