Job Summary
Act as Lead Design Engineer leading teams in solution development from concept through to construction. Provide technical input into projects, civil input into asset surveys, feasibility studies, and preliminary designs. Ensure compliance with engineering regulatory requirements and support the establishment of a ‘Centre of Excellence for engineering. Deliver guidance during delivery, commissioning, and handover of assets, and mentor junior engineers in the Water Engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive wastewater experience in the water industry
- Highly developed communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of regulatory environment for engineering compliance
- Active approach to developing and mentoring apprentices, graduates, and civil engineers
Desired Qualifications
- Recognised senior engineer in civil engineering
- Experience in wastewater infrastructure including rising mains
- Knowledge of wastewater network hydraulics
- Knowledge of infiltration management and construction

- Co-located with the team in GTC India preferred
