Job Summary
Senior/Principal Engineer responsible for driving delivery of civil and bridge projects, mentoring junior team members, bridge design and maintenance, inspections and assessments, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and supervision of CAD technicians; requires Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer with experience in design/review across build, maintenance and strengthening of bridges, knowledge of DMRB/MCDHW and Eurocodes, and proficiency with FEM tools (LUSAS, Superstress, SAM).
Required Qualifications
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with experience in bridge design and maintenance
- Practical knowledge of bridge design, maintenance and assessment
- Project management of bridge projects
- Experience with design and supervision of steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete structures
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and DMRB/MCDHW
- Experience with FEM software (LUSAS, Superstress, SAM)
- Strong communication and client handling skills
