Job Summary
Lead end-to-end electrical engineering activities for a next-generation Renal Denervation RF ablation generator, covering systems development, circuit card design, fabrication, and verification. Own electrical systems integration and characterization while ensuring rigorous requirements decomposition and regulatory compliance. Act as the primary technical spokesperson for design decisions, trade studies, and technical reviews within the workstream. Lead the electrical engineering team through task planning, delegation, and scrum facilitation, managing schedules and dependencies with R&D and program leadership. Drive risk management activities including FMEAs and hazard analyses to ensure solutions meet safety and reliability standards for medical devices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of electrical systems engineering experience
- Advanced degree with 8 years of electrical systems engineering experience
- 6 years of electrical systems engineering experience with a PhD
- U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Electromechanical Systems / Capital equipment, or equivalent experience including hardware and software integration
- Technical leadership experience
- Experience with IEC 60601-1, or other highly regulated industry
- Experience with RF Energy delivery, SOM's, FPGA
- Experience with ISO 14971
- Experience with product concept development, customer interaction, systems engineering, verification of engineering requirements, and validation of customer needs/design requirements
