Senior/Principal EIA Consultant

Job Summary
Coordinate statutory and non-statutory environmental assessment processes, including due diligence, feasibility, and consent condition compliance for major development proposals across data centre, industrial, and property sectors. Manage project delivery by overseeing technical and commercial aspects, interpreting baseline data, and drafting Environmental Statements and scoping reports. Lead multi-disciplinary teams through early-stage due diligence to project completion, while contributing to business development activities such as fee proposals and tender submissions. Liaise with clients, supply chain partners, and Ramboll colleagues to advise on environmental constraints and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in environmental sciences, environmental engineering or a related environmental discipline
- Relevant project delivery experience
- Strong communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to liaise with colleagues and clients
- Understanding of environmental consenting processes in the UK
- Understanding of EIA process and regulations
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in an environmental discipline (advantageous)
