Senior/ Principal Consultant - Strategy & Feasibility - Rail, Light Rail, Freight, Local Authorities

Senior/Principal Consultant to join WSP’s Rail Strategy & Feasibility team in the UK, responsible for providing strategic rail advice to external and internal clients, coordinating multi-disciplinary projects, and developing rail-focused service offerings in rail, light rail, freight, and work with local authorities. You will plan, manage and deliver tasks on large projects, contribute to bidding for new work, engage with clients to build networks, and apply understanding of operational and strategic rail planning, business case development, and engineering feasibility. The role emphasizes proactive collaboration across WSP UK and global communities, stakeholder management, and delivering fundable project concepts. The candidate should demonstrate experience in rail/transport sectors, familiarity with legislative and funding processes, and a proactive, collaborative consultancy mindset.
