Job Summary
Senior/Principal Chartered Landscape Architect role within AtkinsRéalis (AtkinsRéalis, a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization) seeking a Chartered Senior/Principal Landscape Architect with a proven track record in design, able to support project delivery from feasibility through construction. The role requires design input across education, public realm, parks & greenspace, active travel; preparation of bids; landscape advice to clients; strong project management and budgeting capabilities; mentoring of junior staff; proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with REVIT/BIM; excellent communication and report-writing, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team in a hybrid-working environment.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant landscape degree
- Extensive experience post Chartered membership of the Landscape Institute
- Solid experience post-chartered in a Landscape role
- Experience in management and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects
- Experience in the Education sector preferable
- Proven experience in technical delivery and overseeing projects on site (RIBA Stage 4 and 5)
- Excellent project management skills for multi-disciplinary projects
- Proven ability to manage budgets
- Consultancy experience is an advantage
- Competent in AutoCAD and Adobe software packages and experience of REVIT would be advantageous
- Experience and understanding of BIM and Communication through hand drawing invaluable
- Good communication skills, with ability to draft reports and develop design information to a high standard
- Ability to work under pressure, and have proven success in meeting tight deadlines
- Confident team worker, but able to work with limited supervision and Commercial awareness and business development skills
