Senior / Principal Associate – Capital Markets

Job Summary
Advise listed companies, investment funds, and financial institutions on complex capital markets and corporate finance transactions, including IPOs, secondary fundraisings, placings, rights issues, and stock exchange listings. Manage transactions from inception through completion by coordinating multi-disciplinary and cross-border teams where required. Assist clients with ongoing disclosure obligations, public company governance matters, and fund lifecycle activities such as launches, restructurings, and strategic transactions. Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development initiatives and mentoring junior lawyers within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- Minimum 4 years' PQE gained within a recognised corporate, capital markets or financial services practice
- Strong experience advising on capital markets and corporate transactions
- Excellent technical drafting and transaction management skills
- Commercially minded with strong client-handling capabilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management
Desired Qualifications
- Experience advising listed companies and/or investment funds
- Exposure to listed investment funds, REITs or other listed fund structures
- Experience of IPOs, secondary fundraisings and broader equity capital markets transactions
- Familiarity with FCA-regulated clients and financial services regulatory frameworks
- Experience working on cross-border transactions
