Job Summary
Educate prospects and customers on TiDB capabilities and share integration best practices. Guide the design and deployment of hybrid transactional and analytical databases while preparing demos and proofs-of-concept to demonstrate use cases. Work on RFPs with the Sales team and create technical content illustrating integration and implementation strategies. During customer implementations, assist backend developers, DBAs, product managers, and project owners with technical questions. Document architectural solutions and distill customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales. Participate in public speaking events at physical or online conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
- 2-5 years of experience in solution design and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong technical proficiency in a wide range of technologies
- Cloud computing experience
- Micro services architecture experience
- API design experience
- Database systems experience
- Security principles knowledge
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
