Senior Presales Consultant
HybridNew York City, New York, United States or New York, United States
Job Summary
Lead end-to-end solution cycles with Account Executives, conducting discovery, value quantification, solution design, demos, and proofs of concept to guide banks and credit unions on modernizing origination and launching products without core replacement. Navigate buying committees by presenting strategic vision to executives, use cases to business teams, and architecture to technical leaders while building ROI models that quantify time-to-market, cost-to-serve, and competitive differentiation. Demonstrate how FintechOS lifts product logic above core providers like Fiserv and Jack Henry to accelerate financial product delivery. Partner closely with the US sales team to win new logos across community banks, credit unions, and mid-to-large institutions, acting as the voice of the market back to product and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years in presales, solution consulting, or sales engineering, selling software or platforms into US financial services
- Strong banking domain experience – you've worked with community banks, credit unions, and mid-to-large institutions, and you understand how they buy, operate, and what keeps them up at night
- Real fluency in origination, lending, deposits, and core banking realities – you can hold a credible conversation about workflows, decisioning, regulatory pressure, and cost-to-serve
- Proven ability to straddle business and technical conversations – you quantify ROI with executives and discuss architecture with engineers
- A track record of winning deals by articulating business value, not just features: faster launches, lower costs, competitive edge
- Technical understanding of APIs, cloud architecture, and integrations – you don't need to code, but you need to speak the language
- Autonomous and proactive – you see the opportunity, shape it, and drive it without waiting for permission
- Must be able to travel across the US for client meetings, workshops, and conferences – roughly 30 to 50% depending on deal activity
- Must be able to travel to London HQ occasionally to connect with the wider team
- Must be based in Fort Lauderdale or fully remote within the US
Desired Qualifications
- Know the credit union world specifically – member-centric model, NCUA regulation, community mission – and can speak to it authentically
- Understand the shift from IT-led to business-led product development, and can articulate it without leaning on buzzwords
- Have sold origination, digital banking, or lending platforms and know the competitive landscape (Blend, Backbase, MeridianLink, and the core providers)
- Can position AI as business value, not tech theater
- Have built ROI models or business cases that genuinely shifted an executive's decision
- Have contributed to thought leadership – industry events, winning RFPs, or content that influenced buyers
