Job Summary
Review artwork, structural designs, and layouts to enhance product production capabilities. Modify artwork using software tools to create printable media, leveraging electronic workflow systems for error-free outputs. Troubleshoot technical issues, convert files into printable formats, and create original mockups for customers. Collaborate with prepress, sales, design, and customer service teams to balance workload and deliver proofs. Advise on efficient prepress procedures, manage color profiles and press curves, and maintain proofers according to schedules. Develop specification sheets for laminating and die cutting, while partnering with analysts to improve workflows and administer software. Act as a training resource for less experienced team members and participate in periodic staff meetings.
Required Qualifications
- A two-year degree in Graphic Communication-related fields or equivalent experience
- At least seven years of experience in lithographic print production
- A commitment to ethical business standards and personal integrity
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
- Ability to convey a positive and professional image of service and support to employees at all levels of responsibility in the company
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Accuracy in work and strong attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, influence, and implement change
- High level of ability to make sound and courageous decisions on your own
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram format

- Demonstrated communication skills in both oral and written format
- Demonstrated ability to use graphics software in a print production environment (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop)
- Ability to create new artwork when needed
- High level of ability to work effectively with employees and Managers/Supervisors and the ability to convey a positive and professional image to employees and customer
- Ability to use and interpret Internet/Intranet information
- Ability to work with Macintosh and Windows-based operating systems
- Ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, and Excel spreadsheet applications)
- Practical experience in at least one workflow/RIP system for preparation of files for printing

- Monday – Friday from 2:30pm – 11:00pm
- This is an onsite position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with the Esko Platform (Automation Engine, Artios, WebCenter) preferred
