Job Summary
Manage premium accounting and bordereaux reporting for key stop loss programs, including monthly reports, commission registers, and aging analyses. Reconcile claims payments, receipts, suspense items, and daily bank reports to validate deposit accuracy. Partner with internal Claims, Policy, and external business partners to resolve complex discrepancies and drive operational efficiency initiatives. Ensure accurate, timely completion of all department work products while collaborating on general ledger reconciliations. This role supports the Accident & Health Medical Business Unit's diverse portfolio of specialty insurance and reinsurance products, leveraging strong communication and analytical skills to improve profitability and customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a mid-level finance and accounting position
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Medical stop loss insurance experience
- Connexure ESL (Formerly David Young Consulting) system experience
