Job Summary
Proactively build and manage a portfolio of mass affluent clients across multiple branch locations by acting as the primary contact to uncover financial needs and deliver compliant solutions. Execute a consultative sales process to develop strong relationships, acquire new assets from existing portfolios, and identify additional sales opportunities through community engagement and two-way referrals. Review credit applications to ensure sound granting principles, recommend remedies for credit quality, and execute quality retention meetings. Mentor branch personnel on mass affluent client strategies, educate clients on digital banking options, and liaise with internal departments to diagnose and solve product support problems. Adhere to security procedures, due diligence, and risk management frameworks while maintaining confidentiality and monitoring exception reports.
Required Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Proven experience in a financial services organization
- Knowledge of banking products, associated services, pricing strategies, and profitability management
- SIE Exam
- Series 6 license
- Series 63 license
- Series 65 license
- State Life and Health insurance licenses
- Series 7 license
- Series 66 license
- Advanced understanding of deposit, loan (including mortgage) and banking products and practices
- Cash flow analysis
- Lending process and directives
- Credit risk policies and standards
- Supporting processes
- Applicable legal and regulatory requirements
- Bank policies
- Excellent understanding of brokerage and insurance products
- Excellent knowledge of business services, including retirement plans, business banking solutions, insurance, and succession planning
- Excellent understanding of personal trust and investment management
- In-depth knowledge of client portfolio management
