Job Summary
Senior Branch Premier Banker SAFE in Consumer Banking and Lending at Wells Fargo. In this role you will proactively acquire affluent consumer and small business clients, deepen relationships through pre-planned appointments, and advise on banking, mortgage, retirement, and investment options. You will maintain deep knowledge of Wells Fargo’s banking solutions, identify client goals, collaborate with Business Banking Advisory Services, Mortgage and Wealth Management to meet needs, manage risk and comply with regulations, collect and analyze financial information to tailor plans, build relationships with branch colleagues and partners, and provide guidance to other branch employees on client relationships and complex needs. Licensing and SAFE registration are integral, with a licensing program for those not yet fully licensed at hire and progression to the SAFE role upon completion; ongoing regulatory requirements and background checks are required. The position involves customer contact and may include eligibility to offer/negotiate dwelling-secured transactions, with travel and licensing requirements as specified by state rules.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of customer service experience or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners
- 3+ years of experience recommending financial products and services
- FINRA Series 6 and 63 exams (or recognized equivalents) to qualify for immediate registration
- State Insurance license(s) required for this role and must be completed within a specified period
- SAFE registration at time of employment and ongoing compliance with SAFE licensing requirements
- Experience with banking services including mortgage, investments, and wealth management, and ability to advise on financial options and services
- Ability to meet licensing requirements in multiple states as applicable
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and risk management controls
