Job Summary
Conduct site visits to assess logistical constraints and lead risk identification for high-profile projects. Develop outline-level schedules, logistics/phasing plans, and detailed Means & Methods Plans while collaborating with 3rd-party experts on Construction Management Plans. Create preconstruction narratives for marketing materials and participate in client interviews and presentations. Monitor design evolution to integrate updates into plans and lead hand-off meetings to ensure alignment between planning and execution. Support 200 proposals annually across $50M-$300M projects, balancing efficiency, safety, and constructability. This role partners with estimating, marketing, and operations teams to deliver integrated work plans for Shawmut's elite clients.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of construction management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and work experience
- Experience leading construction management teams in the preconstruction phase of projects on $50m-$300m projects
- Proficiency in Primavera P6
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
- Proficiency in Bluebeam
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Procore Management
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Working knowledge of Naviswork
- Experience with CMP and NFPA 241 planning
- Experience with developing General Condition and Project Requirement studies
- Experience developing master schedules including front-end design and procurement requirements
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from preconstruction through execution
