Job Summary
Develop preconstruction strategies and workplans to drive regional goals and client value during the RFP and project delivery phases. Manage RFQ/RFP processes, collaborate with internal teams to create proposal content including estimates and logistics plans, and lead preconstruction meetings to ensure constructability and cost control. Develop general condition studies, master schedules, and cost reporting while tracking variances and strategies for cost recovery. Own the preconstruction services budget and provide cost, quality, and schedule advice to design teams and owners. Lead design-build teams on projects up to $300M, ensuring adherence to milestones and on-budget delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of construction management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and work experience
- Experience leading construction management teams in the preconstruction phase of projects on $50m-$300m projects
- Experience developing a preconstruction workplan and driving the owner and architect to meet critical milestones
- Experience developing General Condition and Project Requirement studies
- Experience developing master schedules – in particular front-end design and procurement requirements
- Experience leading a design-build team during the preconstruction phase for an on-budget, on-time project delivery
