Senior Preconstruction Estimating Manager (Manufacturing)

Job Summary
Lead and manage estimating efforts to drive competitive, accurate project pricing across all phases from conceptual to GMP. Assign and oversee estimating tasks for support staff, develop detailed cost models and basis of estimates, and perform quantity takeoffs for self-perform scopes. Conduct risk analysis, lead value engineering and constructability reviews, and coordinate closely with Design Manufacture Construct, MEP, BIM, and Operations teams. Support change management estimating, collaborate on proposals and new work acquisition, and monitor department performance to improve accuracy and efficiency. Ensure accurate handoff from preconstruction to operations while maintaining strong relationships with clients and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years experience in construction or preconstruction estimating
- Strong experience with estimating, scheduling, and project management tools
- Ability to lead meetings, presentations, and client interactions with confidence
- Ability to build relationships, earn trust, and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of construction methods, cost control, and risk management
- Excellent communication skills
