Job Summary
Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to be the technical lead alongside Account Executives throughout the sales cycle. Responsibilities include creating and delivering proof-of-value demonstrations and technical presentations, building and maintaining demo environments for visibility and security solutions, leading discovery sessions, developing custom demos/POCs, providing detailed technical responses to RFPs and security questionnaires, configuring and performing product demonstrations, creating technical proposals and implementation architectures, supporting customer trials, and delivering compelling technical value to drive revenue. Requires 5+ years in pre-sales engineering in networking or security, strong presentation and communication skills, deep networking knowledge, experience with monitoring and visibility tools, and relevant certifications. Will travel to industry events and participate in ongoing training and enablement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in networking or security
- Strong presentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences
- Deep understanding of network architectures and protocols
- Experience with network monitoring, packet broker technology, and visibility solutions
- Proven ability to run effective product demonstrations and proofs-of-concept
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellence in customer-facing communication and relationship building
- Technical certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Security+, etc.)
