Job Summary
Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist sought to lead, mentor, and shape practice standards within an Adult Social Care team. Responsibilities include managing a small caseload of complex cases, mentoring and supervising students and newly qualified OTs, leading on major adaptations and equipment for independence, representing the service in strategic initiatives and service development, promoting high standards in case management, assessments, and written work, and contributing to integrated working through the OT duty rota.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Extensive experience in adult social care OT practice
- Strong knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding procedures
- Proven ability to mentor, supervise, and lead others
- Experience with major adaptations and equipment provision
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively across services
