Job Summary
Senior Practitioner - Clinical role leading a national, fully remote mental health clinical service. You will provide clinical oversight, risk assessment, escalation and safety planning, and support supervision, coaching and training of practitioners in a digital environment. The position emphasizes a child-centric approach to practice, governance updates, and improvement of digital workflows, while maintaining clinical boundaries and high standards in a remote, fast-paced setting. You will report to the Digital Services Manager and collaborate with clinical leaders, helpline staff, and lived-experience practitioners to ensure safe decision-making and service quality across a national remote service. The role requires tertiary qualification in an allied health field and current registration, with 3–5 years’ experience in digital or remote clinical environments, and a proven ability to lead, coach and support teams remotely.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or another allied health field
- Current and ongoing registration with the relevant professional body (including AHPRA for psychologists/clinical psychologists/occupational therapists and registered nurses; PACFA for counsellors)
- 3–5 years’ experience in digital or remote clinical environments
- Experience supervising, coaching or leading teams (formal or informal)
- Ability to hold emotional space while maintaining boundaries
- High-level critical thinking and business acumen
- Ability to work autonomously in a digital, fast-paced setting
- Strong communication, collaboration and documentation skills
- Digital confidence across key platforms (Microsoft, Salesforce, telehealth systems like Genesis)
- Strong alignment with organisational values and Model of Care
- Reliable internet connection with minimum plan speed of 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload
