Job Summary
Senior Practitioner leading the assessment and approval of foster and kinship carers across Fraser Coast, Bundaberg, Rockhampton and Emerald regions with a strong focus on culturally safe, evidence-informed practice and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principle. Responsibilities include leading intake, assessment, training and approval of carers; providing expert guidance on risk, legislation, and culturally informed practice; driving continuous quality improvement; supporting workforce capability development; building partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities; ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, HSQS and WHS; and undertaking travel across specified regions to support service delivery and stakeholder collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Holds a current C Class Queensland Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Children Check, 'Blue Card'
- Holds or is willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR Certificate
