Job Summary
Interface regularly with practice staff, physicians, and contracted providers to build trust and establish credibility within assigned geographies. Educate network providers on quality improvement incentives, payment methodologies, and electronic tools like EPIC, MyChart, and HillMetrics to optimize performance and patient outcomes. Respond to provider needs by triaging issues to internal departments for resolution while recruiting participation in Hill offerings and solutions. Conduct practice manager meetings, new provider orientations, and ongoing training on workflow processes and best practices. Participate in designing Hill initiatives, strategizing outreach approaches, and mentoring other Practice Support Advisors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in physician office business operations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing others to take actions
- Excellent public speaking skills
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and manage multiple projects and tasks, with varying timelines, at once
- Self-directed and able to work productively independently, yet able to function well in a team-oriented environment
- Valid California Driver's License
- Proof of auto insurance
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a managed care, clinical practice, or healthcare environment
Desired Qualifications
- Training experience
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Improvement Science, or Practice Transformation
- Aptitude, familiarity, or experience with current healthcare technology applications for physician offices, such as practice management systems, electronic medical records, and/or billing systems
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
- Basic understanding of CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding
