Job Summary
Lead a Civil Works team delivering large USACE projects, including water resource initiatives and flood mitigation programs, while managing relationships with key Federal clients. Establish goals, provide business planning and strategy, and grow a land development practice with significant autonomy to direct resources and mentor staff. Demonstrate integrity, sound business principles, and profitable project management across structural, mechanical, and civil engineering disciplines. Maintain open communication with partners and leverage extensive client contacts with agencies like the Army Corps of Engineers and NAVFAC to drive proposal writing and budgeting.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience managing Civil Works projects in the Federal space
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Demonstrated ability to manage civil works projects profitably
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
Desired Qualifications
- Discipline expertise in one of the following areas preferred: structural, mechanical, civil engineering
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, DHS, the US Coast Guard, the National Guard, or other Federal agencies
