Job Summary
Lead a Land Development team by operating with integrity, providing business planning and strategy, and establishing clear goals. Build and maintain positive client relationships while growing and mentoring staff to transition work effectively. Manage projects profitably with the autonomy to direct resources and advance your business. Enjoy a base salary range of $150,000 to $260,000 plus performance-based bonuses, with potential to advance to ownership. Located in Santa Clarita, CA, this role requires a Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) and 15+ years of relevant experience in land development project management.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing land development projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or land owners
- Strong technical skills with AutoCAD Civil3D
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage land development projects profitably
- Operating with integrity and sound business principals
