Job Summary
Prepare financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and larger groups. Manage monthly or quarterly management accounts by posting journals for accruals, prepayments, and depreciation. Maintain client accounting records, perform reconciliations, process client data, and handle queries. Prepare VAT, self-assessment, and corporate tax returns. This role is part of the Accounts team at a leading UK chartered accountancy firm serving sole traders, limited companies, and LLPs across various sectors.
Required Qualifications
- ACCA/ACA qualified/or part-qualified if Semi-Senior level, or qualified, or qualified by experience if Senior Level
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice
- Good level of knowledge of accounting standards
- Experience of cloud accounting software
