The Senior Powerplant Engineer will play a critical role in supporting the development, maintenance, and implementation of powerplant systems for aircraft, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position requires expertise in powerplant engineering within the airline industry and includes responsibilities such as performance analysis, technical support for maintenance, and fleet performance evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in powerplant engineering within the airline industry
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and powerplant operations
- Experience with turbofan and turbine engines, including maintenance and inspection processes
Desired Qualifications
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems
