Job Summary
Senior Power Systems Electrical Engineer responsible for leading design and studies of LV/MV distribution (480V–13.8 kV) for stellarator facilities; develop single-line diagrams, load schedules, grounding, and equipment layouts; specify low/medium voltage switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and distribution panels; architect power systems for large, steady-state loads; conduct load flow, short circuit, arc flash analyses (IEEE 1584); perform protection-relay coordination; model systems with ETAP/EasyPower/SKM; provide technical leadership on motor systems, VFDs, and harmonics; oversee installation, testing, and commissioning; ensure NEC/IEEE/NFPA 70E compliance; mentor junior engineers and produce study reports and drawings; hybrid work policy in Knoxville, TN.
