  • 5+ years of industry experience with MS or 3+ years with PhD in developing high-power, high-voltage converters (kW to multi-MW scale)
  • Mass production & commercial release experience: taking a complex electronics product from concept through prototyping, regulatory certifications, and hand-off to high-volume production
  • DFX principles expertise (Design for Excellence, bottlenecks, CO SG reduction, yield improvements)
  • Converter-level expertise from topology selection to certified commercial product
  • Understanding of semiconductor switching physics, device capacitance dynamics, wide bandgap devices, safe operating area and thermal constraints
  • Parasitics and high-frequency circuit dynamics on multi-layer PCBs and power modules
  • Control of power converters: DSP, grid-following/ forming inverter control methodologies
  • Laboratory & instrumentation proficiency with HV lab environment tools
  • Schematic capture, multi-physics thermal/magnetic simulation, and circuit simulators (PLECS, SPICE, LTspice, Simulink)
  • Experience with MV systems up to 13-kV/35-kV classes and partial discharge mitigation
  • Familiarity with PLM structures and BOM/ECO management
  • Experience with utility-scale grid-tied systems, switchgear, protective relays
  • Knowledge of international grid codes (UL, IEEE, IEC)
  • Proven track record of bringing high-power electronics hardware from concept to mass production
