Job Summary
Senior Power Electronics Engineer responsible for leading the design, development, integration, and validation of power electronics systems and components across the full product lifecycle. Drive technical solutions with systems thinking, collaborate with mechanical/electrical/software/systems and manufacturing teams to balance performance, cost, and manufacturability, participate in supplier evaluations, review technical documentation and test reports, mentor engineers, and stay abreast of emerging power electronics technologies to translate into product improvements. Requires hands-on development in power electronics, strong understanding of power devices and conversion topologies, proficiency in motor-control software environments (e.g., Matlab/C), and effective technical communication. Onsite five days a week in Qingdao, Shandong, China.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field)
- Product Design & Development experience at senior level
- Technical Analysis & Problem Solving
- Systems Thinking
- Technical Communication
- Familiarity with design processes, reviews, and validation methodologies
- Hands-on development experience in power electronics, electric drive, electrical systems, or related products
- Knowledge of power devices, power conversion topologies, and system-level integration
- Experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead
- Cross-regional or cross-functional collaboration experience
- Quality, reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies
