Job Summary
Senior Power BI Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing complex software solutions to address BI needs. Collaborate with software engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure BI solutions align with business objectives and user needs. Build BI solutions that are AI-prepped, stay current on software practices, and support robust data models and reports using DAX, Power Query, and Tabular Model Definition Language. Lead and contribute across the SDLC with CI/CD tooling for deployment, influence architectural design where applicable, and provide guidance and training to communities of practice. Partner with product management to translate requirements into technical roadmaps and specifications, and work with operations teams for integrations across systems and services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Expertise with the Microsoft Analytical stack including Power BI, DAX, TIMDL/TMDL
- Experience in software development with emphasis on quality and timely delivery
- Experience designing and managing BI solution architectures with governance
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software development methodologies
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
- Power BI Data Analyst Associate required; Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate preferred
