Job Summary
Translate complex business processes into scalable analytical models and self-service reporting solutions for Project Management, Sample Management, Laboratory Operations, and Executive Leadership teams. Design, build, and maintain Power BI semantic models, including DAX measures, KPIs, hierarchies, and table relationships, while optimizing data models for performance and refresh efficiency. Partner with Data Engineering and Corporate IT to ensure analytics-ready data structures, validate dataset readiness, and implement row-level security and workspace permissions. Reduce ad hoc reporting by standardizing core analytics views, developing certified datasets, and providing training to functional teams on dashboard usage and BI best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Professional Certificate
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise Power BI solutions
- Power BI Service
- DAX
- Semantic Modeling
- Power Query (M)
- SQL
- Data Visualization Best Practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within CRO, clinical research, biorepository, laboratory services, or life sciences environments
- Knowledge of ERP, CTMS, LIMS, CRM, and operational workflow systems
- Experience building executive-level KPI dashboards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, and enterprise data warehouse architectures
