Job Summary
Senior Portfolio Manager at TBC Capital responsible for developing and managing investment portfolios within discretionary and non-discretionary mandates, establishing and updating Strategic/Tactical Asset Allocation frameworks, monitoring performance and risks, communicating investment decisions and rationales to brokers and clients, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with MiFID II/ESMA and internal policies. Requires 5–7 years in portfolio management, expertise across global equities, fixed income, and alternatives, CFA/CAIA/FRM preferred, Bloomberg/Morningstar proficiency, strong Excel/financial modeling, and fluency in English and Georgian.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in portfolio management or related investment roles
- In-depth knowledge of global financial markets and portfolio theory
- Experience managing global equities, fixed-income instruments, and alternative investments
- Experience managing portfolios for high-net-worth private and institutional clients is preferred
- CFA certification or equivalent qualifications (e.g., CAIA, FRM) are preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg, Morningstar, and portfolio analytics systems
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Fluency in English and Georgian is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic and analytical thinking with the ability to make independent decisions
