Senior Portfolio Analyst, ESG

Job Summary
Analyze investment portfolios and capabilities while supporting the commercial process for client queries and RfPs. Generate quality answers for DDQs and written commentaries by conducting portfolio analysis that incorporates research from the Responsible Investing and Corporate Governance teams. Lead the production of quarterly strategy updates for internal and external purposes, including investment letters and presentations. Execute responsibilities using AI-enabled analytics to aggregate data, perform recurring analysis, and synthesize information subject to human review. Act as a subject matter resource for ESG topics such as carbon footprint, climate transition, and human rights, ensuring consistency and accuracy in investment messaging. Partner with Investment Strategists and the RI team to develop institutional-level content and forward-thinking ESG studies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years Asset Management experience in a related field
- Passion for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) issues
- Proven experience using ESG analytical resources such as Sustainalytics and MSCI ESG Ratings
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsible, with excellent attention to detail
- Can lead and drive analytical projects to successful conclusions
- Demonstrated interest in and comfort with using AI-enabled tools
Desired Qualifications
- Charter Financial Analyst Accreditation (CFA) or currently working towards the CFA
