Job Summary
Senior Policy Advisor for MBIE’s Science Sector Policy within the Science Branch, delivering reforms to New Zealand’s Science, Innovation, and Technology system. Develop policy, support drafting new legislation, provide high-quality policy advice, and collaborate with Science Sector Policy and Science Systems Policy teams. The role emphasizes applying policy development disciplines to issues, synthesising diverse information, communicating complex topics clearly, and contributing to national-benefit reforms in science funding, organisational settings, and priority-setting mechanisms.
