Job Summary
Maintain and continuously improve the APM Terminals Project Management Framework, including processes, standards, templates, tools, and best practices across global Business Implementation Management. Provide PMO guidance and constructive challenge to project teams, Heads of Portfolio, and senior stakeholders to strengthen governance, assurance, and delivery discipline. Coordinate project reporting, governance routines, and stage-gate reviews while supporting the implementation of project controls across schedule, cost, scope, risk, and change management. Plan and facilitate workshops with clear objectives and review key interfaces between business readiness, asset delivery, and operations workstreams. Ensure structured document management and apply the APMT Project Management Maturity Assessment methodology consistently. Support onboarding, training, and capability building for project teams on PMO standards and project controls. Based in The Hague, this role requires approximately 15–25% global travel. Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, PMO, or project controls is required, with strong MS365 skills and proficiency in systems like PMWeb, Aconex, or Oracle Primavera Cloud.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, PMO, and/or project controls roles
- Strong knowledge of project management processes, governance, stage-gate reviews, reporting, document management, and project controls
- Proven experience developing, improving, and implementing project management frameworks, standards, templates, tools, and project assurance practices
- Broad experience across planning and scheduling, cost management, risk management, change management, stakeholder management, and document management
- Strong MS365 skills, including Copilot, with experience using project management, project controls, reporting, and document management systems such as PMWeb, Aconex, or Oracle Primavera Cloud
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel globally to support projects, with an expected travel requirement of approximately 15–25% of your time
