Job Summary
Manage and lead teams responsible for comprehensive facility plumbing designs with little or no oversight. Oversee project plumbing engineers to ensure codes, standards, best practices, coordination, and quality control are incorporated into designs. Develop scope requirements, create work plans, and manage budgets while acting as Engineer of Record for projects under your direction. Perform site visits to investigate issues and provide clear direction for field solutions, applying advanced engineering principles to solve technical coordination challenges. Nurture relationships with existing clients and reach out to new contacts to foster additional work. Mentor associates with less experience and provide training. Take personal ownership of all work produced.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- P.E.
- 8+ years of proven relevant technical and management experience
- military training
- field experience
- Experience working in a professional A/E office, Consulting Firm, Construction Contractor, or equivalent
- Ability to travel
- Proficient in Revit
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficient in photometric
- Proficient in word processing/spreadsheet
- Strong written, verbal and communication skills
- ability to participate in a collaborative team environment
