Job Summary

Join Design Group as a Senior Plumbing Designer, where you will lead mechanical engineering projects focusing on plumbing design for complex industrial facilities. You'll apply your expertise in US plumbing codes and your experience in designing plumbing systems for food, beverage, and life sciences industries. Responsibilities include overseeing system design presentations, equipment selection, and project management using Revit and AutoCAD. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 6+ years of experience, and hold a CPD certification and preferably a PE license. The role emphasizes mentorship and professional growth in a collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • ASPE Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) active certification highly preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
  • 6+ Years of Engineering Experience
  • Strong understanding of Uniform and International Plumbing Codes
  • Demonstrated project design in food, beverage, consumer packaged goods and life science sectors
  • Proficiency in MS Office productivity software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Field experience in the construction and installation of industrial plumbing systems
  • Pipe-flo and Ceaser II experience is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to Travel: Availability to travel 10-20% for project needs
