Senior Plumber - Facilities - Bayfront Hospital

Job Summary
Receive and review work orders, then assign tasks to plumbers and mechanics while coordinating schedules with Engineering leadership. Repairs, adjusts, or replaces plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping in compliance with state codes and Joint Commission safety standards. Plans, installs, and services water, waste, gas, and fire protection systems; performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including visual inspections to detect abnormalities. Responds to emergency calls, collaborates with outside vendors and inspectors, and supervises trades for new projects and remodeling. Maintains inventory, operational records, and regulatory licensure updates while ensuring punctual attendance and data confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Five (5) years' experience as a plumber, preferably in a healthcare facility
- Three (3) years of experience is required of a trade or vocational school graduate
- Valid Florida driver's license
- No more than six (6) points on driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier's requirements and standards
