Job Summary
Own enterprise PLM capabilities end-to-end, from strategic intake and prioritization through delivery, release, adoption, and continuous optimization. Serve as the solution authority for assigned domains, translating supply chain and engineering priorities into actionable direction while defining design decisions and trade-off recommendations. Lead requirement shaping, user story clarification, and acceptance criteria definition to ensure scope clarity and data integrity. Drive key design decisions and secure approvals through governance forums, ensuring funding readiness and organizational preparedness prior to release commitment. Own delivery outcomes in partnership with PLM IT, proactively identifying risks and managing dependencies with a fact-based point of view. Define and execute UAT strategy and sign-off, ensuring SOX compliance, audit readiness, and controlled risk mitigation for production releases. Lead release readiness, cutover planning, hypercare, and post-release continuous improvement to ensure sustained supply chain impact. Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, communicating scope, progress, risks, and recommendations across regions and functions. Drive cross-functional decisions to closure in ambiguous environments while balancing business risk, value, and technical constraints.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in PLM, ERP, and supply‐chain‐integrated systems, preferably in complex, global enterprise environments
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, strategic initiatives in matrixed organizations
- Familiarity with Agile or user‐story‐based delivery models
- Deep knowledge of PLM concepts, including BOM structures, product master data, and lifecycle governance
- Strong understanding of how product data, PLM governance, and system decisions impact supply chain performance and business risk
- Experience operating in compliance‐driven and audit‐controlled environments
- Familiarity with system integrations, data flows, and cross‐platform dependencies
- Strong analytical, problem‐solving, and decision‐making skills
- Ability to synthesize complex data and ambiguity into clear recommendations and executive‐ready guidance
- Leads through influence across business, IT, and supply chain stakeholders
- Operates independently on complex problems requiring in‐depth evaluation of multiple factors
- Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and follow‐through for strategic decisions and outcomes
- Comfortable engaging with senior leaders, defending recommendations, and advising on trade‐offs, risks, and growth opportunities
- Exhibits learning agility, digital fluency, and a continuous improvement mindset aligned with HP values
- Impacts enterprise supply chain and product lifecycle capabilities, providing expertise and leadership across functional and cross‐functional initiatives
- Contributes to the development of competitive, scalable supply chain solutions through standardized PLM capabilities
- Must be available for 25% travel
