Job Summary
Build and operate distributed services and APIs at scale to process large volumes of software metadata, normalizing it into a consistent model for Oracle's Software Ecosystem Management initiative. Debug across service boundaries to improve reliability and performance while managing ambiguous, evolving requirements within a large enterprise environment. Develop durable solutions that support teams across OCI as the platform grows with the company's software estate.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in distributed service engineering or a related software development role
- Strong development experience in Java or another object-oriented language
- Experience building or operating distributed systems and APIs at scale
- Familiarity with databases, data processing, and production-grade backend services
- Experience debugging across service boundaries and improving reliability and performance
- Comfort working in a large enterprise environment with ambiguous, evolving requirements
