Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end migration of the internal platform from RKE to OpenShift, driving the project from design through build, testing, and full productization. Stand up and configure the new OpenShift environment while ensuring parity and improvement over the existing infrastructure. Take complete technical ownership of the migration programme, collaborating with SMEs to make re-architecture decisions and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders. Implement full operationalization including monitoring, alerting, and alarm integration, and manage onboarding of L1/L2 support teams with runbooks and support processes. Support APIGee platform integration points as required.
Required Qualifications
- OpenShift
- RKE
- Strong hands-on expertise in OpenShift (design, deployment, and administration)
- Strong understanding / experience of RKE (the platform being migrated away from)
- Experience with platform/infrastructure migration projects, ideally in a telecom or network operator environment
- Familiarity with monitoring/alerting/observability tooling and operationalization practices
- Ability to work independently and take end-to-end ownership of a transformation programme
