Job Summary
Build AWS infrastructure from architecture diagrams and maintain existing systems through updates and patches. Develop and maintain platform-owned codebases including Lambda/Python-based APIs and internal tools while converting architectures into Terraform modules. Construct end-to-end AWS stacks covering networking, compute, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS workloads, and load balancing. Implement best practices for high availability, IAM, observability, and cost optimization. Debug logs and trace issues across multiple services, troubleshooting end-to-end system flows and processing platform-generated datasets such as logs, inventories, and telemetry.
Required Qualifications
- Strong practical experience in AWS across compute, storage, networking, IAM, and serverless services
- Hands-on experience with Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and SQS
- Strong ability to write reusable Terraform modules and multi-environment configurations
- Can independently translate architecture into well-structured IaC
- Solid experience with ECS (task definitions, services, autoscaling, IAM for tasks)
- Working knowledge of EKS (pods, manifests, node groups, basic Karpenter usage)
- Proficiency in Python for internal APIs, Lambda functions, and tooling automation
- Good understanding of clean code, error handling, and integration best practices
- Familiarity with Athena (CTAS, queries, partition projections)
- Basic SQL for querying logs, telemetry, and operational datasets
- Strong debugging skills across distributed AWS systems
- Self-driven engineer who operates with minimal supervision
- Hands-on, ownership-driven, and comfortable working in a small team
- Ability to switch between infrastructure, code, and operations seamlessly
- Problem-solving mindset with curiosity to go deep into issues
