Job Summary
Senior Platform Engineer to own infrastructure, CI/CD, and developer experience on the Verantos Evidence Platform hosted on AWS. Responsibilities include simplifying and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a multi-project monorepo, planning and executing incremental infrastructure changes with rollout steps and rollback plans, building and maintaining operational runbooks, monitoring, and alerting, collaborating with DevOps across the organization to standardize networking and deployment patterns, contributing Python and TypeScript code where platform concerns touch the application layer, partnering with QA to ensure proper testing, and actively using AI tools to accelerate delivery while upholding security and code quality. Collaboration spans engineering, product, design, QA, and clinical domain experts in a fully remote, US-based environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and container orchestration (ECS, EKS, or similar)
- Solid Python skills
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in small teams balancing speed, simplicity, and quality
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate delivery
- Clear communication across engineering, QA, and compliance stakeholders
