Job Summary
Senior Platform Engineer in the Global Infrastructure team responsible for building and operating scalable infrastructure solutions. You will design and deliver infrastructure automation and management tools focused on scalability, observability, automation, reliability, security, and a high-quality environment. You will provide internal infrastructure services (monitoring, logging, alerting), expand and enhance our Kubernetes-based application environment, and collaborate with other software engineering teams from design through maintenance to enable the fastest, most reliable delivery of software. The role requires hands-on work across design, development, and operations, leveraging technologies like Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) while applying GitOps and IaC practices. Strong written communication and experience working in a distributed team are important, as is a bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- Experience with orchestration platforms such as Temporal.io
- Experience with Terraform or similar configuration/infrastructure management systems
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Ruby, or Python
- Deep knowledge of core cloud hosting concepts (IAM, DNS, Networking, Storage, etc.) and experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts
- Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience working on a distributed team
- Excellent written communication skills
