Job Summary
Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate a cloud-native compute platform on AWS and Kubernetes. You will work with engineering, architecture, and security teams to deliver platform capabilities that enable secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery. Responsibilities include driving platform security, scalability, resiliency, and evolution through strategic roadmaps and migration efforts; designing, building, and operating platform capabilities for a multi-tenant Kubernetes environment; leading troubleshooting, incident response, capacity planning, and continuous improvement; providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers; and leveraging AI-powered tools to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Deep expertise with AWS cloud and managing Kubernetes clusters in production
- Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitOps, Argo CD, and CI/CD practices
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CDK, or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, including VPCs, CNI, service mesh, ingress, Envoy Gateway, Gateway API, DNS, and load balancing
- Experience with Karpenter, autoscaling, capacity management, and cost optimization
- Strong production experience with observability, monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and operational excellence
- Experience designing and operating multi-tenant platforms including managing secrets, configuration, and platform security controls
