Job Summary
Senior Platform Engineer to own and optimize GCP infrastructure and CI/CD tooling, while ensuring security and compliance with NIST/SOC-2. You’ll design and maintain IaC (Terraform) across development, staging, and production, build internal tooling to accelerate engineering workflows, implement scalable CI/CD pipelines, and lead security controls, auditing, and observability. You’ll collaborate with Platform and Engineering teams, mentor peers, participate in incident response and postmortems, contribute to architectural decisions, and help define platform standards to enable fast, secure, and compliant software delivery. Familiarity with regulated environments (Fintech) and certifications (GCP CISSP, etc.) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar)
- Solid understanding of security principles and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, SOC-2) and implementing controls to meet audit requirements
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams
